Modern Artifacts

Modern Artifacts are physical records of process.

Each piece begins as a working design and is translated into a document of how that design was built, altered, and resolved. What is shown is not a concept, but the structure behind it, including decisions, corrections, and intent.

These works are produced on hand-aged parchment and finished individually. Markings, wear, and variation are part of the construction, not applied for effect. No two pieces resolve the same way.

This category exists to preserve the thinking behind the work, not just the outcome. Each artifact stands as a record of how a design came into form.
